Fyne Diving

Perched on the edge of Loch Long at Arrochar, Fyne Diving is a PADI TecRec dive centre and your gateway to three lochs and hundreds of dive sites. An established centre that relocated from Stirlingshire, where it began in 2017, it's now run with experienced instructor Colin Irvine at the helm.

Courses and local diving

This is a genuine one-stop shop for PADI training, spanning everything from Bubblemaker right through to Divemaster, plus the technical route with Discover Tec and Tec 40, 45 and 50. You can ease back in with a PADI Scuba Refresher, from USD 207 and lasting around two hours, or dive into the four-day PADI Open Water Diver Fastrack. Guided local dives and snorkelling trips round out the offering.

Handy touches make life easier: kit hire, an onsite classroom, parking, and air fills to 300 bar right on the doorstep, so you can top up your tanks after a dive (no nitrox at the moment). Local dive sites include Loch Long, the A-Frames at Finnart, and Wemyss Bay's SS Kintyre. It suits curious beginners and technically minded divers alike, and anyone keen to progress toward Divemaster or instructor is encouraged to get in touch.
