Gary's Dive Shop

Based in Guaymas, Mexico, Gary's Dive Shop is a PADI Resort dive center staffed by two PADI Instructors, welcoming divers in both English and Spanish. It's a friendly launch point for anyone wanting to get in the water, whether you're taking your very first breaths underwater or building toward more advanced certification.

Courses and dives for every level

Newcomers can try the PADI Discover Scuba Diving program under the supervision of a PADI Professional, mastering basic concepts and skills before heading out. Returning divers can brush up with a PADI ReActivate Scuba Refresher, while the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course takes your skills further. On the water, choose from full-day and half-day boat trips, including a half-day outing with two boat wreck dives.

The center is well set up for a comfortable day of diving, with an onsite classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop and a dive boat. Services include air fills, nitrox, equipment sales, and a full range of scuba, freediving and kids' equipment rental — making it a versatile home base for divers in Guaymas.
