Gnu Diving

Born from a shared enthusiasm and a deep respect for the sea, Gnu Diving is a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort on the waterfront at Santa Maria di Leuca, Italy. The team's philosophy is simple: the sea asks us to slow down, to listen to the silence broken only by our breath, and to connect with a marine world we are lucky to be guests in. They share that passion with joy — without ever stepping back from professionalism and safety.

Courses and dive sites

With 4 PADI Instructors and 13 courses and activities, Gnu Diving welcomes both first-timers and certified divers. The Santa Maria di Leuca Diving Adventure runs two dives over roughly four hours, while continuing education spans PADI Deep Diver, Advanced Open Water, Dry Suit, Underwater Navigator, Equipment Specialist and Peak Performance Buoyancy. Enriched air (Nitrox), Trimix and mixed gas are all available.

Local sites read like a divers' map of the area — Punta Meliso, Secca del Pisello, La Cattedrale and the wreck of the Tevfik Kaptan 1 among them. English and Italian are both spoken, making this a welcoming base for anyone keen to explore these waters.
