Gravity Diving Resort Semporna

Established in 2023, Gravity Diving Resort Semporna is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort set in the waters off Sipadan, Malaysia. Its team of 6 PADI Instructors works with divers in five languages — English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Chinese and Malayalam — making it an easy fit for international and Chinese-speaking guests alike.

Courses and training

The centre runs the full PADI pathway, from Open Water and Advanced Open Water through EFR, Rescue Diver, Divemaster and the Instructor Development Course, along with specialties such as night, deep, drift, boat, wreck, sidemount, nitrox and dry suit diving. Freediving and Mermaid programmes round out the line-up, so beginners and aspiring pros are equally well served.

On-site you'll find a training pool, classroom, air-conditioned facilities, a retail shop and a dive boat, all in a waterfront location with its own house reef. Divers here can encounter sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish, making it a natural base for exploring the reefs around Sipadan.
