Haliotis - Peniche Diving Center

Set beside the Supertubos beach in Peniche, Portugal, Haliotis was the very first Haliotis dive centre — its infrastructure built from the ground up by divers, for divers, with comfort and safety in mind. Vans shuttle divers to the harbour, where the boats set out for the Berlenga's Natural Reserve. As a PADI 5 Star CDC with 4 PADI instructors and 16 courses and activities, it welcomes newcomers and pros alike.

Courses and facilities

Training runs the full PADI ladder — from Beginner PADI Open Water Diver through Freediver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Rescue Diver, Scuba Diver and Divemaster — with a 13x7 pool (3m deep) built exclusively for teaching. On site you'll find male and female changing rooms, hot showers, two classrooms, a technical rental zone and a shop. As an Aqualung centre, it fills Air, Nitrox, Trimix and O2, and is rebreather friendly.

Nearby dive sites include Cova do Sono, Flandres, Ilhéu Maldito, Estelão and Baia do Forte. Staff speak English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
