Hippocampos Dive Center

On the north coast of Crete, in the village of Bali (Rethimno), Hippocampos Dive Center has been introducing guests to the underwater world since early 1994. Owners Angelos and Corinne run it as the local dive center, welcoming both beginners and experienced divers to explore a variety of selected, interesting dive sites.

Small groups, personal care

As a PADI 5 Star Dive Center with 3 PADI instructors, Hippocampos keeps its groups small so every diver receives attention before and during the dive. The team's guiding philosophy is simple — to offer scuba diving the way they would want it for themselves — summed up in their motto: safety, comfort, quality.

Alongside guided diving explorations, the center offers PADI scuba diving lessons in a warm, familiar atmosphere. After the dive, there's time to relax over a soft drink and talk through the day together. It suits anyone who values friendly, personal instruction over the crowds — whether you're taking your first breaths underwater or returning for more.
