Hydrovius

On the island of Leros in Greece, Hydrovius Diving Center has been welcoming divers since 2000 and remains the only diving resort on the island. Over 17 years it has earned a reputation for professionalism and customer service, operating right at the sea side about 1 km from the capital town of Agia Marina.

Courses, sites and who it suits

As a PADI Dive Center with 2 PADI instructors, Hydrovius covers a wide path of training — from PADI Scuba Diving and Freediving to Snorkelling, EFR first aid, TecRec, rebreather/CCR and Adaptive Diving. With a house reef, two dive boats and nitrox on hand, it works for newcomers and experienced divers alike. Leros is known as the "Malta of the Aegean" and the "Mekka of wrecks," so there's plenty of history to discover underwater.

The center is fully equipped with rental gear (including kids' equipment), an onsite classroom, showers, cleaning basins and storage. Facilities include air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop, food and drinks, and parking. Staff speak English and Greek.
