Ikion Diving

Set on the waterfront at Alonissos in Greece, Ikion Diving is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort offering exciting underwater experiences for anyone who wants to dive safely and responsibly inside the National Marine Park of Alonnisos. With two PADI Instructors on the team, the centre welcomes both beginners and experienced divers while promoting environmental awareness through its activities.

Courses and dive sites

Newcomers can start with PADI Discover Scuba Diving at Glyfa Beach, while a full range of training runs through the Scuba Diver Course, Open Water Diver, Open Water Referral Part 2/2 and Advanced Open Water Diver in the Alonissos Marine Park. Reference dives and courses begin from USD 120. Local diving takes in sites such as Mourtias Reef, Mikros Mourtias Beach, Nudi Rock, Agios Petros, the Blue Cave and Glyfa.

The centre is best known for easy access to the Peristera Ancient Wreck, one of the world's most ancient shipwrecks and the first Underwater Museum of its kind. With a house reef, dive boat, onsite classroom and accommodation, and English, French and Greek spoken, it suits divers of every level.
