Island Nomads

Meet Island Nomads — the self-styled "Water Amigos" of Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep) in India. As a PADI Dive Center staffed by two PADI instructors, this friendly team runs seven courses and activities for divers arriving in English or Bengali, with an onsite classroom and free Wi-Fi to help you settle into learning.

Courses and diving

Whether you're taking your first breath underwater or building toward a professional edge, the range covers PADI Discover Scuba Diving, the Open Water Diver Course, Advanced Open Water Diver, Adventure Diver, Rescue Diver, PADI Scuba Diver and Emergency First Response. Air fills, scuba equipment rental and a conservation focus round out the services.

The dive sites read like a highlight reel of Havelock waters — Dixon's Pinnacle, Johnny's Gorge, The Wall, Pilot Reef, the Inchkeith Wreck and Turtle Beach among them. Divers can encounter sharks and rays, turtles, eels, molluscs and crustaceans, corals and anemones, and plenty of ocean fish, making Island Nomads a natural fit for curious beginners and course-hungry improvers alike.
