United Scuba

United Scuba began its journey on Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep) in 2017, carrying on a family tradition handed down from local-born pioneers of diving in the Andamans. This PADI Dive Center sits in a waterfront location with a house reef right on its doorstep, and its two PADI Instructors clearly value the joy their guests and students find beneath these emerald-blue waters.

Courses and diving

Whether you're taking your very first breaths underwater or building toward advanced certification, there's a pathway here. Options run from the three-hour PADI Discover Scuba Diving (from USD 70) through the PADI Scuba Diver and PADI Open Water Diver courses, up to PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, with Emergency First Response training and full-day dive trips also on offer.

Divers explore local sites including Jackson's Bar, Johnny's Gorge and Minerva Ledge, where the marine life can include sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish. With an onsite training pool, classroom, retail shop and dive boat, plus staff speaking English, Bengali, Tamil and Hindi, it suits everyone from curious beginners to certified divers.
