Ocean School Andaman

Tucked into the shoreline of the Ocean Tree Beach Resort and Spa on Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep), India, Ocean School Andaman is a PADI Dive Center where seasoned instructors and dive masters welcome divers of every level. Two PADI instructors work across four languages — English, Bengali, Tamil and Hindi — tailoring each dive to the individual, whether you're certified or slipping beneath the surface for the first time.

Courses and diving

Training runs from your first scuba certification through more advanced skills, and the center also offers PADI Freediving, PADI Snorkelling and PADI First Aid (EFR). An onsite training pool, classroom and Adaptive Services Facility support the learning, while air fills and equipment sales and rental keep you in the water.

The dive boat Liberty carries up to six diving clients out to sites such as Nemo Reef, ranging over vibrant coral reefs and shipwrecks. Below the waves you may encounter sharks, turtles, rays, eels, corals, anemones and a wealth of ocean fish. With onsite accommodation, food and drinks, free Wi-Fi and parking, it suits both first-timers and returning divers.
