Jonio Pro-Dive Catania

Tucked inside Camping Junio in Catania, Italy, Jonio Pro-Dive Catania is a PADI 5* Instructor Development Dive Center that runs all year round. It's managed by experienced PADI instructors with a deep knowledge of the surrounding waters, and the team speaks English, Spanish, French and Italian.

Courses and diving

The center offers a full range of training, from Discover Scuba Dive right through to Instructor, plus the PADI Tec Diver course. Along the way you'll find options such as PADI Scuba Diver, Divemaster, Deep Diver, Night Diver, Search and Recovery, Peak Performance Buoyancy and the PADI Aware Course in the sea of Catania, with prices from USD 107.

Some of the best dive sites sit right off the shore, so there's no need for a boat to get started. On request, a dinghy runs out to sites further afield like the Relitto Toikosan Maru, while spots such as Grotta delle Monete, Archi e Grotte, Cerianthus 38 mt, Gorgonie and Canalone round out the local map. It's a flexible home base for divers at every level.
