Kasa Diving

Kasa Diving is a full-service PADI dive center quietly nestled along one of Tanzania's most remote stretches of beach in Zanzibar. Its name — 'Kasa' — means 'Turtle' in Swahili, a fitting nod to the threatened green sea turtles that glide through the waters here.

Diving Maziwe Marine Reserve

The center's diving unfolds within the protected waters of Maziwe Marine Reserve, an idyllic sand atoll that reveals itself only at low tide. Below the surface lies a teeming reef of over 30 distinct species of hard and soft coral, home to more than 300 species of tropical fish — along with sharks, rays, eels, molluscs and the very friendly bottlenose dolphins.

Kasa Diving teaches the full range of PADI courses with a focus on personalized training, comfort, safety and environmental responsibility. With an onsite training pool, classroom, dive boat and accommodation right on the waterfront, it suits divers of every level — from first-timers seeking patient, one-on-one instruction to those drawn to conservation and quieter, untouched corners of the ocean.
