Kraken Diving

Kraken Diving holds a singular place in Scapa Flow, Orkney — proudly the only diving school in these waters and a gateway to some of the finest wreck diving anywhere. Every course and dive is led by instructors who have logged hundreds, if not thousands, of dives across the Scapa Flow wrecks, so you're guided straight to the best areas by people who truly know them.

Time in the water, done properly

This isn't the place for a quick "flying" course. Each programme builds in more than the minimum required dive time, beginning with equipment set-up so your kit is streamlined for the course and beyond. Numbers stay small — a maximum of two students per course, or three on guided dives — and professional and technical courses use video as a teaching tool during debriefs.

As a PADI Resort with two PADI Instructors, Kraken Diving offers PADI Scuba Diving, TecRec, Snorkelling, Conservation and EFR First Aid, with dive sites including Churchill Barrier 3 and Scapa Flow. Onsite classroom, parking, and a full range of equipment rental round out a centre built for divers who want to learn well and explore Europe's great shipwrecks.
