LP Diving & Marine Services

Run by Lance Palmer, LP Diving & Marine Services has grown from a one-man equipment-servicing operation into a familiar dive centre in Stafford, United Kingdom. Lance trained as a commercial diver and has spent more than 30 years in the industry since leaving the military, with a background that spans recreational, technical and HSE commercial diving — and even work in the film industry as a marine supervisor on productions including 1917, James Bond and Mamma Mia.

Courses and training

As a PADI 5 Star IDC centre with 5 PADI instructors, LP Diving offers instruction across Scuba, Technical diving (PADI TecRec) and beyond. The team is made up of experienced instructors trained in scuba, technical and HSE commercial diving, so learners from first-timers to those pursuing more advanced qualifications are in capable hands.

Today the site is a busy service centre catering not only to divers but also to air gunners and paintball enthusiasts. English is spoken, making it a welcoming base for anyone looking to train, service equipment or develop their diving in Staffordshire.
