Mar Sub

Based in Santos on Brazil's coast, Mar Sub is a long-established PADI Dive Center built on a reputation for safe, professional diving and a genuine passion for the ocean. With three PADI Instructors on the team and service in English, Spanish and Portuguese, it welcomes everyone from first-timers to seasoned divers.

Courses and diving

New divers can start with the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience from USD 250, while those after a worldwide qualification can take the PADI Open Water Diver course from USD 520 over roughly three days. Already certified? The Full-Day Dive Trip runs from USD 210. The center is closely tied to the diving scene around Santos, exploring iconic local sites — most famously the Laje de Santos, one of Brazil's most important dive spots for its rich marine biodiversity.

Beneath the surface you may encounter sharks, rays, turtles, eels, echinoderms and plenty of ocean fish. On land, divers have an onsite training pool and classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop and parking, plus air fills, equipment sales and rental.
