Mare Nostrum Diving Palermo

Set in the seaside village of Sferracavallo in Palermo, Italy, Mare Nostrum Diving sits right at the gates of the Capo Gallo – Isola delle Femmine Marine Protected Area, facing the beach known as "Zotta." This waterfront base is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort built around education, with an onsite classroom, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi to keep training comfortable.

Courses for every kind of diver

With two PADI Instructors on hand, the centre spans a wide range of programs: PADI Scuba Diving, TecRec, Freediving, Mermaid, Snorkelling and First Aid (EFR), alongside conservation activities. Scuba equipment rental is available, and instruction is offered in both English and Italian, making it welcoming for international divers.

From May to October, the team relocates to a secondary location on Ustica Island, reachable in a day. In the surrounding waters divers may encounter sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish and more — a rich backdrop for those focused on learning to dive well.
