Mares Dive Center

Set on the shores of Ensenada in Baja California, Mexico, Mares Dive Center is a PADI 5 Star IDC with a clear mission: to build a community of divers rooted in safety and professionalism. With 11 PADI instructors on the team, the focus spans both sports and technical diving, making it a natural home for divers eager to keep learning.

Courses and local diving

The training menu is broad, from PADI Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver (eLearning) through to Wreck Diver, Deep Diver and the Diver Propulsion Vehicle Diver course. Full-day and multi-day trips round out the calendar, so there's a path for newcomers and seasoned divers alike.

Divers explore sites such as La Bufadora, Arbolitos Cove, Kennedy Cove, Isla Todos Santos and Bajo de San Miguel, with the chance to encounter sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish. On-site facilities include a training pool, classroom and dive boat, and staff work in English and Spanish.
