Mediterranean View Diving Center

Set within the grounds of the family-friendly Candia Park Village hotel in Agios Nikolaos, Crete, Mediterranean View Diving Center (MVD) welcomes divers of every level to calm, warm waters that stay divable all year round. As a PADI Resort with two PADI instructors experienced and trained in first aid, it's an easy, reassuring place to begin — or to keep exploring.

Courses, sites and marine life

Newcomers can wade in gently through "Discover Dive" sessions, using the sheltered sandy beach and large private pool before heading out. Beyond PADI Scuba Diving, the center offers PADI TecRec and PADI Snorkelling for those who want to go further.

The dive sites suit every taste, ranging from ancient remnants and wrecks to rocky slopes, caverns, walls, reefs and drop-offs. Crystal-clear water delivers visibility up to 25 metres across spots like Pleora Point, "The Wall", "Kamini", the "Mantigo wreck", Seagull island and the Candia house reef. With English, German and Greek spoken, MVD is a friendly base to dive Crete.
