Mundo Submarino

On the waterfront in Veracruz, Mexico, Mundo Submarino is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort with a team of six PADI Instructors and qualified diving guides. Courses here follow the PADI educational system, spanning PADI Scuba Diving, PADI Freediving and PADI First Aid – EFR, so newcomers and returning divers alike have a clear path to build their skills.

What to expect on the water

The centre runs day and night dives, snorkelling trips and boat rides aboard modern, fast boats. Each vessel carries up to 12 divers with a guide and boat operator, measures 33 feet, runs a 225 HP Suzuki engine, and comes equipped with marine VHF radio, GPS, an awning, onboard oxygen, a first aid kit, and water, soft drinks and snacks.

A house reef, onsite classroom and retail shop round out the facilities, alongside air and nitrox fills, equipment sales and rental, and a dive club. The surrounding waters are home to sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish. Staff speak English and Spanish, making Mundo Submarino a welcoming base for divers exploring Veracruz.
