Newcastle University Sub Aqua Society

Newcastle University Sub Aqua Society (NUSAC) is a PADI Dive Center and student club based in Newcastle upon Tyne, welcoming both experienced divers who want to keep diving through their university years and complete newcomers keen to try the sport for the first time.

Courses, trips and club life

New members can begin with try dives at the start of the year, then work towards PADI qualifications with club discounts along the way. Kit hire is free for the year, so getting in the water is refreshingly simple.

Once qualified, divers can join UK dive trips throughout the year plus an overseas trip over Easter. Between dives, regular socials keep the community close-knit, run by a friendly, welcoming committee who are enthusiastic about the sport and always glad to meet others ready to dive in.
