Ocean 13 Scuba

Tucked into the lively Kampung ABC on Tioman Island, Malaysia, Ocean 13 Scuba is a PADI-certified dive center built for divers and ocean lovers of every stripe. With two PADI instructors and a welcoming waterfront base, it's a place where first-timers and seasoned divers alike can settle into island life and get straight to the good stuff: the water.

Courses and diving

The training menu spans the full PADI ladder. Curious newcomers can try a Discover Scuba Diving session — morning or afternoon — from USD 76, while the Open Water Diver Course (from USD 432) earns your first certification. From there, build toward Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, and even Divemaster, with Emergency First Response care training rounding out the offering.

A house reef sits right on the doorstep, and the center's dive boat opens up Tioman's wider sites, where divers may cross paths with sharks, rays, turtles, and schooling ocean fish.
