Phocea Mexico Playa

Phocea Mexico is a renowned dive center on the waterfront in Playa del Carmen, offering a broad range of PADI courses from beginner to professional level. A PADI 5 Star IDC Resort with six PADI instructors, it holds high standards of education and safety, and stays active in local marine protection efforts.

Courses and dive sites

The center is noted for its access to the Cenotes of the Yucatán Peninsula and the reefs of the Riviera Maya and Cozumel, with a strong emphasis on technical and cave diving. Guided dives take in Cozumel's world-famous reefs and Cenote Chac Mool, while training runs from PADI Scuba Diver and Emergency First Response through to Deep Diver, Wreck Diver and Rescue Diver.

Waters here host sharks, whales, turtles, rays, corals and more. With an onsite classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a dive boat, plus staff speaking English, Spanish and French, it suits divers of every level seeking advanced training and unique underwater adventures.
