Planet Scuba School Ltd

Planet Scuba School is run by divers, for divers — and it shows in the range of diving on offer from their Essex base. As a PADI 5 Star IDC centre with 12 PADI instructors, they cover everything from PADI Scuba Diving and TecRec courses to First Aid EFR and conservation training.

Dive sites and marine life

Regular local diving takes in Gildenburgh Water, Dosthill Quarry, Stoney Cove and Wraysbury, where divers can encounter sharks, whales, turtles, freshwater fish and more. Further afield, the school runs trips worldwide, including Red Sea liveaboards, the Maldives, Galapagos, Bonaire and Malta, plus UK adventures like seal diving in the Farne Islands and wreck diving at Plymouth, Porthkerris, St Abbs and Scapa Flow.

Facilities include an onsite classroom, air conditioning, a retail shop and parking, alongside air fills, Nitrox, equipment sales, rental and a dive club. With an onsite compressor and trained service technicians, it suits divers who want a well-equipped, all-round home for their diving.
