Pole Pole Divers

Pole Pole Divers is a small, personal diving centre in Zanzibar, Tanzania, run by a local and a foreign PADI instructor. The school opened in 2019 and kept going through the pandemic, carried by a genuine passion for diving and a steady drive to improve its equipment and knowledge — all to give guests the best experience possible in the water.

Courses and diving for every level

Two PADI instructors keep groups small, with a maximum of four divers per Dive Master and two Discover Scuba Divers per instructor. Options run from a Half-Day Dive Trip and PADI Discover Scuba Diving (from USD 135) up to the Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver and Open Water Diver (E-learning) courses, so both first-timers and experienced divers have a path.

The waterfront base has an onsite training pool, a dive boat, free Wi-Fi and parking, with staff speaking English and Italian. Beyond the reef's coral, divers may encounter turtles, ocean fish, sharks and rays, eels, molluscs and crustaceans. It suits anyone, expert or beginner, who wants to discover Zanzibar's underwater world in a relaxed, close-knit setting.
