Popeye Diving Center

Popeye Diving Center opened in 2007 on Psili Ammos beach in Thassos, Greece, sitting just 15 meters from the sea among beach bars, restaurants, hotels and water sports. In partnership with PADI, SSI and IANTD, the center delivers both recreational and technical scuba training led by Stelios Chasparis, a PADI IDC Staff, TecRec and Rebreather Instructor with 15 years as a commercial offshore diver.

Diving around Thassos

Divers can explore 30 different sites across this North Aegean island, ten of them just five minutes from the center. The waterfront base includes an onsite classroom, retail shop, parking and a dedicated dive boat, an 8-person Humber RIB. Air fills, nitrox and mixed gas are all available on site.

Beyond core PADI courses, Popeye offers TecRec, rebreather and freediving training, plus scuba, kids' and DPV scooter rental. With English and Greek spoken and equipment sourced from leading brands, it suits everyone from first-timers to technical divers.
