Portofino Divers

Set on the waterfront at Santa Margherita Ligure, Portofino Divers is a PADI Resort that has followed one philosophy since 2002: a very personal dive experience for even the most demanding diver. That means a maximum of 10 divers per boat and 5 divers per instructor or divemaster, with matched training and experience across the team so every dive is safe, extensive and enjoyable.

Local waters, led by locals

Trips are guided by local instructors with in-depth knowledge of the Portofino promontory's habitats. Susanna and Bruno focus on the very best dive sites and Portofino's many surprising wrecks — from Christ of the Abyss and the Mohawk Deer to Secca Isuela, Punta Manara, Santa Reef and Punta Torretta within the Portofino marine protected area.

With three PADI Instructors, the centre offers 13 courses and activities, from PADI Discover Scuba Diving (from USD 149) and Open Water through to Deep Diver, plus enriched air Nitrox. A house reef, onsite classroom, dive boat, free Wi-Fi and parking round out a spot that suits both new and experienced divers.
