Pro Dive International Catalonia Royal Tulum

Set within the Catalonia Royal Tulum in Puerto Aventuras, Mexico, Pro Dive International is part of Pro Dive Mexico, founded in 2003 and known for first-class adventures — from diving in cenotes and exploring wrecks and local reefs to encounters with bull sharks, and safaris with whale sharks and sailfish. It's a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort recognised with the National Geographic Award and the Green Star Award.

Courses and who it suits

With four PADI Instructors and 15 courses and activities, the centre welcomes everyone from absolute beginners to advanced divers, and can accommodate disabled divers. Options include the PADI Scuba Diver Course, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course and the Nitrox – PADI Enriched Air Diver course, plus multi-tank dive packages, a two-day Mini Cenotes package and a two-day Mini Cozumel package.

A half-day two-tank dive trip runs from USD 142. Note that a refresher course is needed if you have not dived within 12 months. Guides are certified MSDTs, and the team speaks English, Spanish, French, German and Hungarian.
