Pro Dive International Occidental Cozumel

Pro Dive International Occidental Cozumel is a PADI 5* Dive Center set on the sandy shores of a resort toward the south of the island. Sitting within the Cozumel National Marine Park, it offers fast access to the reefs, with dive sites reachable by boat in just 5–10 minutes. Four dives run daily, and night dives are available weekly, with a minimum of six divers per excursion.

Courses and daily diving

The team of 8 PADI Instructors offers 16 courses and activities, from PADI Discover Scuba Diving (2 ocean dives) to multi-day dive packages — including 2, 3, 4, 8 and 9 x 2-tank packages in Cozumel. A typical day runs two dives from 8:00 am and two more from 1 pm, usually without returning to the center in between. Facilities include an onsite training pool, a waterfront location and a dive boat, with air fills and scuba equipment rental on hand.

Beyond the reefs, the center runs daily trips to the Cenotes on the mainland, with pick-up near the Playa del Carmen ferry pier, two-tank cavern dives and a picnic between dives. Each cavern group is limited to four divers per instructor. A pool check is required if you haven't dived within 12 months, and a refresher after 24 months. English and Spanish are spoken — a great fit for divers of every level.
