Plan this trip with AI →Set on the Royal Hideaway's beach with a check-in point at the Allegro Playacar, Pro Dive International is an ideal base for exploring the Riviera Maya both north and south of Playa del Carmen, along with some of the best dive sites in Cozumel. Boats leave straight from the shore, ferrying divers to the most beautiful sites within five to ten minutes.
A PADI 5 Star CDC with five PADI Instructors, the centre runs 10 courses and activities in four languages, from Discover Scuba Diving and the PADI Open Water Diver course through Advanced Open Water and Nitrox. Facilities include an onsite training pool, a waterfront location and onsite accommodation.
The daily cenote excursion is a real highlight, with two tanks in different cavern areas and a picnic in between. There's also a Cozumel full-day trip, crossing by ferry to reach the island's finest dive spots in just 5–10 minutes. It suits everyone from first-timers to certified divers looking to explore this stretch of coast.

★ 4 · Erik Dasque · 2009-06-05my friends and I, technical rebreather divers showed up to dive on Pro Dive. While they're not set up or used to technical/rebreather divers the crew was very accommodating and did its best to give us a good experience. The boat is large and with 10 divers or so we had a lot of space. I dove with them for two days and I thought it was very good. They stayed out of our way which was the way we wanted and were very amenable to letting us splash first and come up last to give us more bottom time. The boat offers a lot (food, drinks,...), the dive briefings are good and the crew helpful. Also the price is right. ProDive took us to check out the Mercedes and Tracey one day and the five wreck trek the other day. Both days were great. I recommend ProDive for discovering recreational depth wrecks in the Fort Lauderdale region. They're big so they'll do what's best for the group and won't be able to cater to all your specific needs but that's what you get usually with a large operation. It worked out well for my friends and I those two day.
