Pro Dive International The Westin Cozumel

Set on the northern beach of the island, Pro Dive International at The Westin Cozumel puts the reefs of Cozumel within quick reach. This PADI 5 Star Dive Center welcomes divers of all levels and runs up to four dives a day — two in the morning at 8:00 AM and two in the afternoon at 1:00 PM, completed consecutively without returning to the center between dives. Night dives are an option for groups of six or more.

Courses and cenote adventures

With two PADI instructors and a roster of courses, the center suits everyone from first-timers to certified divers. You'll find PADI Discover Scuba Diving, Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Enriched Air Diver, a Scuba Refresher and Pool Check, plus multi-day dive packages around Cozumel.

The highly recommended daily cenote excursion heads to the mainland for two tank dives in different caverns, with a picnic of sandwiches and non-alcoholic drinks between dives. Groups stay small at four divers per instructor. Water sits around 24°C (75°F), so a 5 mm wetsuit is recommended, and divers must complete a local reef dive before the cenotes. Minimum age for cenote dives is 15.
