Puffin Dive Centre

Set on a three-acre waterside site in Oban, Puffin Dive Centre is one of the UK's premier dive centres, with its training, retail and service facilities purpose-built and arranged around the grounds for easy access. As a PADI 5 Star IDC, it's a place built for learning, backed by nine PADI Instructors and three resident PADI Course Directors, each with a specialist role from diver training and certification to boat skippering and equipment repair.

Diving in Oban

The centre sits right on the waterfront, with a house reef and a dive boat close at hand, plus the nearby Gallanach Reef to explore. Divers here encounter everything from ocean fish and eels to molluscs, crustaceans, corals and anemones, alongside the occasional mammal or reptile of the Scottish waters.

An onsite training pool, classroom, retail shop, air fills, Nitrox and full equipment rental round out the offering, with staff speaking English, Dutch and German. It suits new divers starting out and certified divers alike who want a well-equipped base on Scotland's west coast.
