Quiver Lumut - Marina Island, Lumut

Set on the waterfront at Marina Island in Lumut, Quiver Dive Team is a multi-award-winning PADI 5 Star Career Development Centre — and an easy gateway to diving in Peninsular Malaysia, reachable in around two and a half hours by car from Kuala Lumpur. With its own dive boat and a relaxed, all-year diving season unaffected by the monsoon, it's one of the most accessible spots to get in the water on this coast.

Courses and local diving

As a PADI 5 Star IDC centre with 3 PADI instructors, Quiver runs an extensive range of PADI courses backed by an onsite training pool and classroom — ideal whether you're learning from scratch or working toward going pro. From here, divers head out to Pulau Sembilan, Pulau Jarak and Pulau Pangkor, where you can encounter sharks, turtles, whales and plenty of ocean fish.

Facilities include air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop, parking, and onsite guesthouse accommodation right above the dive shop. With staff speaking English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay and Chinese, it suits international divers of every level.
