Royal Octopus Dive Center

Based in the village of Kolymbari, just 20 km west of Chania, Royal Octopus Dive Centre has been welcoming divers since 2018. As an official PADI 5 Star Dive Center with two PADI instructors, the team helps newcomers and returning divers explore the underwater world with safety, confidence and a healthy dose of fun.

Courses and diving around the Rodopou Peninsula

Royal Octopus runs PADI scuba diving courses for individuals, groups and families, with activities staged at several sites around the Rodopou Peninsula in north-west Crete. There's a house reef on hand and a dive boat for reaching further afield, while snorkelling trips suit anyone who prefers to stay closer to the surface. Conservation activities and a dive club round out the offering.

The centre is fitted out with brand-new SCUBAPRO equipment, an onsite classroom, retail shop, free Wi-Fi and a waterfront location with parking. Activities include full insurance, equipment, transport to and from your accommodation, and the services of the instructors. English is spoken throughout.
