Salang Bay Divers

Tucked into Salang Bay on Malaysia's Tioman Island, Salang Bay Divers is an Authorized PADI Dive Resort and PADI 5 Star Dive Resort welcoming both first-timers and seasoned divers to the waters of Southeast Asia. With three PADI Instructors on staff, the centre runs a full slate of certification courses and leisure dives along this stretch of coast.

Courses and local diving

Training options span the PADI Open Water Diver Course and PADI Advanced Open Water Diver right through to PADI Rescue Diver, with Emergency First Response (EFR) covering first-aid skills. From there, divers head out to local sites including Labas Island, Soyak Island, Batu Malang, Fan Canyon and the KM Sipadan Wreck, where marine life ranges from sharks, turtles and ocean fish to eels, molluscs, corals and anemones.

A house reef, onsite classroom, dive boat and onsite accommodation sit alongside air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, equipment rental and air fills. With English and Malay spoken, it suits anyone looking to learn, log a few fun dives, or get fully certified on Tioman.
