Scuba Buddy

Scuba Buddy Mabul is a PADI-certified dive center set on the island of Mabul, Malaysia, with easy access to the famed dive sites around Sipadan. The center is built around small group sizes, experienced instructors and well-maintained equipment, making it a relaxed, personal place to dive whether you're stepping into the water for the first time or logging serious bottom time.

Courses and dive sites

Beginners can start with Try Diving in Mabul Island, a single dive with no licence needed, then progress to the PADI Open Water Diver Course over three days. Certified divers can join three fun dives around Mabul or push their skills further with the two-day PADI Advanced course. With two PADI Instructors on staff, sites like Coral Hills, Panglima, Paradise 1, Lobster Wall and the Artificial Reef are all within reach.

Underwater, divers can expect turtles, sharks, ocean fish and other marine life. The center offers an onsite classroom, waterfront location, dive boat, onsite accommodation and food and drinks, with services including air fills, equipment rental and conservation activities. English and Malay are spoken.
