Scuba Diver Training Ltd

Based in Durham in the northeast of the United Kingdom, Scuba Diver Training Ltd is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort and recreational dive facility built around one of Britain's most rewarding coastlines. With four PADI instructors on the team, it's a welcoming home base for divers who want proper training and easy access to the water.

Training and local diving

Confined water sessions run every other Tuesday evening at Freeman's Quay in Durham, giving students a reliable rhythm for building skills. Courses on offer include PADI Scuba Diving, PADI First Aid – EFR and Adaptive Diving, supported by air fills, nitrox and an IDEST cylinder test centre. An Adaptive Services facility makes the centre genuinely inclusive.

The real draw is the wealth of local dive sites within around half an hour's drive, among them The Farne Islands, Eyemouth boat trips to St Abbs, and St Mary's Island – West Bay. Divers here can encounter everything from ocean fish to seals and beyond, making it a great fit for both new students and returning divers exploring the northeast.
