Scuba Du S.A. de C.V.

On the private beach of the Presidente InterContinental in Cozumel, Mexico, Scuba Du has been the resort's resident dive centre since 1992, just steps from the private dock. Amongst vibrant reefs, caves, wrecks and caverns such as The Devil's Throat, divers can expect to encounter moray eels, turtles, eagle rays, lobsters and endemic toadfish.

Courses and local diving

The shop runs daily snorkelling and diving excursions alongside a full range of PADI courses and specialties, backed by its status as a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort. Its 4 instructors and 8 dive masters have guided the local reefs for a combined 120 years, while 2 equipment specialists have each been with the company for over 12 years. Air fills and nitrox round out the services, and staff work in English, Spanish and French.

Five custom-built dive boats moor outside the shop, each run by experienced captains and crew, and every vessel carries ladders, shaded spaces, DAN oxygen units and VHF radios. Repeatedly named a top 10 diving centre in the Caribbean by Scuba Diving Magazine and Sport Diver, Scuba Du suits divers who want seasoned local guidance.
