Welcome to Scuba Gen Dive Center, a PADI 5-Star IDC Center (S-27408) set in Semporna, Malaysia. With four PADI Instructors on the team, this is a dive centre built around personal attention — the founder and head instructor oversees every course from start to finish, keeping standards high for first-timers and aspiring professionals alike.

Courses and dive sites

Whether you're taking your first breath underwater or advancing your skills, the training menu spans the PADI Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver courses (both with eLearning), plus Semporna Fundive trips and a Sipadan Fundive Day Trip. Fun dives start from USD 114. Divers explore a wealth of local sites, from Stingray City and Turtle Playground to Nudibranch Heaven, Coral Garden and the Mataking Wreck Post.

Beneath the surface you might encounter sharks, turtles, whales, eels, molluscs and crustaceans, and vibrant corals and anemones. The centre offers an onsite classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a dive boat, with scuba equipment rental available. Staff speak English, Cantonese, Malay and Chinese — a welcoming base for divers of every level.
