Scuba Junkie

Tucked away on Mabul in Sabah, Malaysia, Scuba Junkie at Mabul Beach Resort is an award-winning PADI 5 Star IDC Resort serving the legendary waters around Sipadan. With 18 PADI Instructors on the team and access to more than 100 dive sites nearby, it's a fitting base for one of the planet's most celebrated diving regions.

Courses and diving

The centre runs the full PADI pathway, from Open Water right through to Instructor level, alongside PADI Snorkelling, conservation programmes and EFR first aid training. Enriched air (Nitrox) is available, and the modern, high-quality rental gear covers everything from BCDs and regulators to dive computers, wetsuits and cameras. With capacity for up to 100 divers daily, it handles groups with ease.

On site you'll find a house reef, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop, warm-water showers, air fills and a dive club, plus conservation activities for the eco-minded. Staff speak English, Dutch, French, German, Malay, Chinese and Polish, making it a welcoming choice for international divers of every level.
