Scuba with Alison

Based on the FONATUR Marina in Cozumel, Mexico, Scuba with Alison is a dive operator built around two simple ideas: fun and safety while exploring the undersea world of Cozumel. Diving runs from a converted Bertram-style sport fishing boat, the Maximus, powered by two 200 HP Yamaha outboards — a big, fast boat that still keeps each group to just 8 divers, with plenty of comfort and shade.

Diving on your own terms

Here you dive your tank or computer and come up when you're ready, rather than on a strict time limit. Cozumel's waters bring the chance to encounter sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish. The PADI dive boat operation welcomes divers in both English and Spanish, open every day from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Gear is easy: rent everything you need, from mask, wetsuit and fins to regulators, dive computers and cylinders, including children's sizes. Bring your own kit and the team will valet everything but your wetsuit — because you're on vacation. It suits divers who want a small, relaxed group with the reach of a larger boat.
