ScubaJuan enjoys a privileged beachfront setting in the heart of downtown Cozumel, tucked inside the Barracuda Hotel opposite the Mega Soriana supermarket. Whether you're staying on the island, arriving by cruise ship, or coming across from Playa del Carmen, Cancun or Tulum, you'll find a sea-front dive store and a thatched palapa where courses are taught right on the sand.

Diving from the doorstep

The house reef sits directly opposite for easy shore diving, while the center's own pier sends out 2-tank dives twice daily at 8.30am and 2pm. ScubaJuan is also the home of the 2-tank Twilight Dive, letting you dive both before and after sunset on a single trip. As a PADI Resort with 3 PADI Instructors, it offers PADI Scuba Diving and EFR First Aid training, plus Nitrox and conservation activities.

Facilities include an onsite classroom, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop, dive boat, onsite accommodation, and food and drinks. Equipment sales and rental cover scuba and freediving gear, and staff speak English, Spanish and French — a welcoming fit for travellers and divers of every level.
