Sipadan-Mabul Resort, Sdn Bhd

Sipadan-Mabul Resort is a beachfront PADI 5 Star Dive Resort on Mabul Island, just 15 minutes from Sipadan. All boat diving runs from speedboats fitted with shaded seating, overhead shelves and a dry space for gear, while the resort's jetty offers unlimited shore diving any time between 7am and 7pm. Between dives the team switches your tanks, and afterwards your kit is delivered to the dive shed to rinse and store.

Who it suits

With six PADI Instructors, an onsite training pool and classroom, this is a strong base for divers of every level. Technical diving courses are available, and the dedicated boat team makes it especially well suited to photographers handling large or multiple camera systems.

Facilities include a house reef, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, onsite accommodation, and food and drinks. Services cover air fills, Nitrox and scuba equipment rental. Under the rules effective from 01 January 2023, visitors to Sipadan Island are capped at 254 per day, and each certified Advanced Open Water diver may complete two boat dives a day. English is spoken throughout.
