Squalo Divers

Squalo Divers is a family-run PADI 5 Star IDC dive center on the waterfront in Puerto Morelos, on Mexico's Riviera Maya. The team pairs local knowledge with a genuine passion for diving, creating a welcoming, professional atmosphere backed by five PADI instructors and an easygoing, friendly feel.

Dive sites and courses

Divers can explore shallow coral reefs right at Puerto Morelos, inland cenotes, and excursions to destinations such as Cozumel, plus seasonal whale shark encounters near Isla Mujeres. That variety suits both newcomers and experienced divers who want several different underwater environments in a single trip.

A full range of PADI courses runs from beginner programs to professional-level training, alongside daily recreational dives led by experienced instructors and divemasters, with a clear emphasis on safety and organization. Enriched air (Nitrox) is available, and the center offers an onsite training pool and classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop, and its own dive boat. Staff speak English and Spanish.
