Stefano Sub Diving Center

At Stefano Sub Diving Center on the island of Elba, a large, multilingual PADI-certified team has stayed devoted to the same craft for years. Harmony, humility, professionalism, passion, dedication and a genuine love for the sea define how Stefano, Marialaura and the rest of the staff work, drawing on 20 years of diving in Italy and abroad, thousands of dives and a thousand courses completed alongside both expert and first-time divers.

Courses and what sets it apart

Whether you're just starting out or building experience, the centre runs PADI Discover Scuba Diving (from USD 132, about 4 hours), PADI Scuba Diver, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and the PADI Open Water Diver Course, supported by 4 PADI instructors. Detailed briefings with site maps and groups matched by experience level mean you're never pushed into a dive beyond you, and the team is never competitive.

With one diving centre across two bases — Porto Azzurro and Naregno beach — plus an onsite training pool, dive boat, waterfront location and full equipment rental, it suits curious beginners and seasoned divers alike. English and Italian are both spoken.
