Based in Christchurch, Dorset, TAL Scuba is a full-service dive centre, retail store and IDEST test centre. As a PADI 5 Star IDC with 8 PADI Instructors, it carries training right through the ladder — from recreational beginners to instructor levels, with technical training available too.

New divers can get their first taste of the underwater world with the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, from USD 69 and lasting around three hours. Those ready to go further can build skills on the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, from USD 685 over approximately three days.

The centre is well set up for learning, with an onsite classroom, air conditioning, a retail shop and parking. Services include air fills, Nitrox, equipment sales and a wide range of rental gear, plus Rebreather (CCR) rental for those exploring technical diving. Instruction is offered in English.
