Tempo Freedivers

Tempo Freedivers is a PADI freediving centre in Protaras, Cyprus, sitting close to Ayia Napa and Cape Greco. With crystal clear waters and a calm sea, it's a setting where learning to freedive feels both fun and safe. Instruction comes from Photis Petousis, a PADI member for over 30 years who has freedived almost all his life and became a PADI Freediver instructor in 2016.

Courses and local diving

The centre offers two pathways for breath-hold divers: PADI Freediver and PADI Advanced Freediver (Elearning), each running approximately 3 days and starting from USD 358. Alongside freediving, you'll find PADI Scuba Diving, conservation activities, and air fills, with free Wi-Fi on site.

Local waters open onto sites including Vizakia Bay, Roman Harbour, The Hole / Green Bay Caves, Green Bay, Cyclops Cave and Cyclops, plus the Liberty and Nemesis wrecks, De Costa Bay and an Artificial Reef. Sessions can be run in English, German or Greek, making this a welcoming base for newcomers and breath-hold divers looking to go deeper.
