Tenggol Dive Buddy

Tenggol Dive Buddy is a small yet professional PADI 5 Star Dive Center based in Dungun, Malaysia, with a daily boat commute out to Tenggol Island. Opened in early 2022 and backed by sister company Tioman Dive Buddy on Tioman Island, the team brings experience gathered diving across most parts of Malaysia.

Courses and diving

With two PADI Instructors on staff, the centre runs PADI Scuba diving courses alongside day diving trips to Tenggol Island, plus PADI First Aid (EFR) training. Air fills, Nitrox and scuba equipment rental are all available, and the centre also takes part in conservation activities. A full range of rental gear is on hand, from BCDs, regulators and dive computers to wetsuits, fins and aluminium cylinders.

The waterfront base offers an onsite classroom, free Wi-Fi, a dive boat, onsite accommodation, food and drinks, and parking, and dive packages can include accommodation. With staff speaking English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay and Chinese, it suits both new divers and travellers looking to explore Tenggol Island.
