The Big Wave Diving Center

Born from years of underwater experience, The Big Wave Diving Center sits less than 500 meters from the Marina di Brindisi, Italy — better known as the Tourist Port, where the center's boats are based. Divers can make use of changing rooms, free hot showers, and the bar, restaurant, and ATM within the structure. As a PADI Resort with two PADI Instructors, the team has studied a range of nearby dive spots to keep courses, dives, and snorkelling running while minimising weather disruptions.

Courses and dive sites

The center runs six courses and activities, including PADI Discover Scuba Diving, the Half-Day Dive Trip (from USD 96), PADI ReActivate Scuba Refresher, PADI Emergency First Response, and PADI Advanced Open Water Diver. Local dives explore Punta del Serrone, Punta Penne, and Secca di Bocche di Puglia, where marine life can include sharks, whales, turtles, and ocean fish.

With an onsite classroom, free Wi-Fi, retail shop, dive boat, parking, and equipment rental and sales, it suits newcomers and certified divers alike. English and Italian are spoken, open seven days a week.
