The Buwan Dive Resort

The Buwan Dive Resort sits along the shores of Semporna, Sabah, in one of Malaysia's most renowned diving destinations. Accredited as a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, it welcomes both novice and experienced divers to explore the crystal-clear waters, vibrant coral reefs and pristine dive sites that surround this stretch of Malaysian coastline.

Courses and diving

With 3 PADI Instructors and 5 languages spoken, Buwan caters to every level. Its 6 courses and activities run from the PADI Open Water Diver Course through to Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Emergency First Response and the ReActivate Scuba Refresher — a strong fit whether you're taking your first plunge or expanding your skills.

The centre has its own house reef, an onsite classroom, dive boat and retail shop, plus air fills and equipment rental. Famous dive sites at Sipadan, Mabul and Kapalai are just a boat ride away, offering encounters with turtles, sharks and manta rays. Dives start from USD 60.
